Welcome to the Sherwood Mastiff website. Our Mastiffs are show dogs, but first and foremost they are members of our family. They share their home with us! We are not interested in breeding for quantity. We strive for quality! Please contact us if you have any questions concerning our Mastiffs. Visitors are always welcome or come meet us at a dog show!
My name is Sherry Deans and I got my first Mastiff in 1999. I've had a lot of people tell me that, "Mastiffs are like potato chips, you can't just have one", now I know why. From the day I got my first Mastiff I knew I was destined for more. I then began to show and you would not believe the sense of accomplishment you have when you show your dog and win. In 2001 I was asked to take in a Mastiff that wasn't wanted. She was kept in a outside kennel for three years. I brought "Harley" home and she was so sweet! She lived in my home for a month until I found her a perfect home. They absolutely adore her and couldn't live without her. At this point I knew there must be other Mastiffs out there in need and I became a member of Mastiff Rescue. However, my passion for animals didn't begin there. Since I was a young girl, I adored animals. I remember how angry my parents would get when I would bring home every stray dog in the neighborhood. When I was 21 I decided to go to college. I got my Associates degree in Applied Sciences and became a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Sherwood Mastiffs is very pleased to Announce that 2 of our Mastiffs
Represented us well at Bucks County Kennel Club in May of 2007. Bucks is
supported entry show with a well respected breeder Judge. This year there
were 114 Mastiffs entered. Bucks is one of the largest Mastiff shows in the
world. We would like to extend a huge thanks to Mrs. Sarah Windham from
Falmorehall Mastiffs In Ireland who put up Sherwood's Anticipatience
"Patience" for Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed, she also
put up Sherwood's Ranchlands Friar Tuck "Tuck" for Reserve Winners Dog.
These wins are a huge honor not only for me but for M.C. Kay who owns
Patience and Tracy Eberhardt who owns Tuck. Both of these dogs were
expertly handled by their owners. We are so proud of of all of them.
